Sberbank and government of Omsk Region to develop digital platform solutions in economy and social sector
Sberbank and the Government of Omsk Region have signed an additional agreement to the current cooperation agreement covering the development of digital platform solutions in top priority sectors of the economy and social matters. The document was signed by Herman Gref, CEO and Chairman of the Executive Board of Sberbank, and the Governor of Omsk Region Alexander Burkov.
The agreement documents the parties’ commitment to long-term cooperation in the development of platform solutions in healthcare, education, manufacturing industry, agriculture, construction, housing and utility services, urban safety and security, transport and energy infrastructure, tourism, financial services, and support for export-oriented enterprises while increasing the efficiency of public administration and control over the completion of tasks through the introduction of digital technologies in Omsk Region.
This is not the first time we’re working with Omsk Region – for years we’ve been implementing banking, public transport, and small business support projects. The signing of the agreement and further joint work will let stakeholders create new digital tools for the socio-economic development of the region.
CEO, Chairman of the Executive Board, Sberbank
We’re always on the lookout for cutting-edge digital solutions. It’s hard to imagine modern systems without cloud technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cross-cutting digital platforms. They are paramount both for the functioning of public administration structures and for higher efficiency of production across enterprises in the region. The best practices of our longtime partner, Sberbank, will be useful to us as we proceed with our digital transformation.
Governor, Omsk Region
