Sber extends RUB 14 bn in soft loans to entrepreneurs via state program constructor

Jun 10, 2021

Fourteen billion rubles have been granted to 450 entrepreneurs in soft loans through the state program constructor, Sber’s all-new service for state support that was piloted in February 2021.

The state program constructor enables companies to go through the initial online check — by simply typing in their INN individual taxpayer identification number — to see if they meet the terms of the four most popular soft lending programs, apply for a loan and consult with Sber’s Center for Corporate Solutions by ordering a call.

The constructor currently includes an incentive program for SMEs, a loan for agribusinesses, and two SME support programs that the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation carries out under government decree No. 1764 as of December 30, 2018.

The service is available via the Sberbank website and the SberBusiness online banking.

We have embedded the key nationwide relief measures for businesses into our constructor, which is an extremely convenient tool available both to our current and potential clients. The constructor helps entrepreneurs pick the state relief measures and apply for soft loans online. We will be increasing the list of soft lending programs available to make the service as comprehensive and useful as possible for all kinds of businesses.

The number of state support programs has grown from nine to 17 since 2020. In March 2021, FOT 3.0 was launched to help entrepreneurs revive their businesses after the pandemic. In 1Q21, Sberbank’s contribution to the program accounted for 70%. Sberbank signed some 10,000 lending agreements worth an aggregate of RUB 25 bn.
