June 26, 2020, Moscow — For the second year in a row, Sberbank has topped the USABILITYLAB ranking compiled after studying the accessibility of banking applications for people with disabilities. The bank won due to the meticulous work it carries out adapting new Sberbank Online services and constantly supporting the ones adapted earlier for blind and visually impaired users.
Sberbank highly appreciates the trust of customers with special needs and carefully maintains a high level of accessibility and convenience of each update. Blind users can take advantage of Sberbank Online’s entire functionality, which means its development was inclusive.
The support of VoiceOver and TalkBack screen reading technology that render text and image content as speech, along with a user-friendly interface and logic behind elements inside the Sberbank Online app let blind customers use banking services fast and face no barriers.
