Sberbank Online wins Red Dot international award

Sberbank has won the international Red Dot Award for several education initiatives, implemented via the Sberbank Online mobile app. In recent years, several information services in different formats, using which the bank now can share useful information on finances, technology and other topics besides informing customers about current services and offers, were introduced into Sberbank Online. The app received the Red Dot Award for this focus on education.
Stories on the main screen
In October 2018, first stories, short texts and corresponding visuals, which bring together today’s useful information and entertaining content, appeared on the Sberbank Online main screen. Customers can set content themselves in accordance with their interests.
Thematic channels in Dialogues
In summer 2019, channels were added in Sberbank Online Dialogues, regularly updated thematic chats to which users can subscribe to keep up with interesting topics. You can learn the most accurate information about real estate, finance and, for example, ecology. Today the audience of the channels is more than one million users.
Articles and texts on cybersecurity
In July 2020, a cybersecurity account with articles and texts on this topic was introduced into Sberbank Online. The materials on how not to fall for tricks of scammers are especially relevant today. In the first five months of 2020, Sberbank registered more than 1.3 mln fraud attempts, which is 2.4 times higher, compared to last year.
