Tatiana Zavyalova, Senior Vice President, Sberbank,
“The pandemic showed that cultural traditions can be preserved by being adapted to new realities. The audience gladly comes to concerts and watches tours online, and our task is to develop this content. The creative partnership between Sberbank and the Tretyakov Gallery has become especially vibrant and productive over the past few months. We are pleased to support the Vivarte festival and show it in its new format on the Okko platform so that hundreds of thousands of people will see this beautiful musical event.”
Zelfira Tregulova, CEO of the State Tretyakov Gallery,
“In 2020, the Vivarte festival that we hold together with our friends and partners, the Iveta and Tamaz Manasherov U-art Fund, is dedicated to Mikhail Vrubel. It so happened that the wonderful concerts that had been planned before could not be held live in the Vrubel hall since the museum was closed due to well-known events. Nevertheless, due to the involvement of Sberbank, a long-time partner of the Tretyakov Gallery, in the project, we have been able to create an online version of the festival with brilliant performers. The Tretyakov Gallery is currently preparing a large retrospective of Mikhail Vrubel, an incredibly interesting artist whose work is inextricably linked with music. Vrubel was one of the first to declare what is now commonly called the synthesis of art. A lot of things in his work were prompted by musical works. Therefore, it is for a reason that this festival is dedicated to Vrubel. And we will very seriously develop the musical theme in the monographic exhibition of Mikhail Vrubel that we plan to show in 2021.”
Iveta Manasherova, President of the Vivarte Chamber Music Festival,
“The Vivarte Chamber Music Festival is a joint musical project of our U-ART Fund and the Tretyakov Gallery, which was born five years ago. Chamber music playing, historically associated with holding home concerts in a narrow circle of connoisseurs, implies a direct dialogue with the public in a small space. While developing this idea further, Vivarte’s online format enables the viewer to remain alone with the music. The paintings of Mikhail Vrubel, the atmosphere of the Vrubel Hall, and the music that sounds in it create a single impression and a synthesis of arts that became the basis of the festival concept. We are grateful to the partners of Vivarta Online. With their support, the festival will come to the home of every spectator.”
Yana Bardintseva, CEO, Okko,
“We are honored to be a multimedia platform that promotes great art. Users’ interest in cultural content they’ve displayed in recent months is ahead of our expectations. We will continue to offer users unique opportunities to see exceptional productions, and we will also help cultural sites engage in dialogue with the audience in the new environment. Thanks to the partnership with Sberbank and the Tretyakov Gallery, as well as modern technologies and trends, we are expanding the geographical, social, and cultural boundaries, making art truly accessible.”
