May 21, 2020, Moscow — Sberbank, Gazprom Neft, and Yandex.Money have launched a new option for their customers, i.e. instant account top-ups. The service is based on the personal account on the Opti-24.com website and lets corporate consumers top up fuel accounts instantly using settlement accounts. At the moment, the instant top-up using settlement accounts is available for Sberbank customers.

The technological base of this solution is the joint B2B Payments service by Sberbank and Yandex.Checkout that enables entrepreneurs to pay for orders in several minutes as it can be done at online stores. When paying for a service or a product, entrepreneurs choose the Pay Using Sberbank Business Online function on the seller’s website then a method to confirm the transaction, i.e. a text message password or a token. You don’t need to input information about the seller, as it gets added to the payment order automatically. Right after the payment, the seller will receive a notification and information about the company for closing documents. Then they will be able to deliver a product or provide a service without waiting for money to be credited or the buyer to send a payment order. Therefore, the payment time between companies gets cut to 1-3 minutes from 1-3 days, speeding up corporate processes and helping entities boost sales.

Sergey Parshikov, Managing Director of the Digital Corporate Bank, Sberbank,

“When creating the B2B Payments service, our goal was to provide corporate customers with a high speed of transactions and make them as convenient as possible in terms of customer experience. We tried to mimic online purchase processes at online stores. Thanks to the joint project with Yandex.Checkout, we’ve managed to create a solution that will enable our corporate customers not only to facilitate and speed up online purchases and transactions but also to become a platform for new customer solutions of the largest Russian companies. We expect that the B2B Payments service will become one of the most popular settlement solutions among corporate customers.”

Our service can cut the time of the payment between Gazprom Neft and its corporate partners to several minutes. The connection of the company to the B2B payments is an important event for the whole B2B market. Thousands of corporate customers work with Gazprom Neft, and now any of them can instantly top up their fuel account without waiting for a long time for the payment to be posted, and without wasting their time to create payment orders.”
