Over 50 mln Sberbank clients use Sberbank Online

September 18, 2019, Moscow — The active monthly audience of Sberbank Online app has broken through the 50 mln level, most of the users being Russian nationals (47 mln), with the remainder spread across over 150 nations worldwide.

Over the year, app audience grew the fastest across the age groups 45+ (+61%) and under 20 (+41%), while the group aged 20 to 45 added 29%.

People aged 20 to 29 make up 33% of users opening savings accounts via Sberbank Online, which is the highest figure among all age groups; users aged 30 to 39 borrow more often than other age groups (47%).

Women use Sberbank Online services more often than men and have almost 60% of all loans and deposits. Meanwhile, among the app’s active users the proportion of women is slightly higher, standing at 55% against men’s 45%.

Daily active audience of Sberbank Online reached 20 mln users. The average number of times a user logged into the system grew to 25 from 19 a month.
