Code of Corporate Ethics

Sberbank Code of Corporate Ethics (hereinafter referred to as the Ethics Code, the Code) contains the standards of behaviour existing within the Bank which are based on our mission and values ensuring an honest and fair attitude to the members of our team, customers, partners, as well as compliance with laws and internal policies. The Ethics Code is meant for each member of the team: for all the Bank’s employees regardless of the position and the members of the Supervisory Board. The Code sets out the standards of business ethics and behaviour for all companies of Sberbank Group regardless of their location. We welcome and encourage partners, counterparties and customers of Sberbank who follow the ethical standards adopted in the Bank.

«It is not only the scope that makes Sberbank different – it is also the customer confidence, the most precious asset shaped by every single manager and staff member. It follows therefore that every one of us has to be guided, on an ongoing basis, by the Bank’s values, moral principles and standards of corporate ethics».

SERGEY IGNATIEV, CHAIRMAN OF THE SUPERVISORY BOARD OF SBERBANK

«Like any other Sberbank team member, I treat this Code as a sine qua non and key to customer confidence, reputation and – looking forward – to the successful long-term growth of our Bank. All managers in the Bank and I are firmly committed to setting an example of good behaviour and promoting a spirit of open communication, where ethical principles are an absolute priority».

HERMAN GREF, CEO, CHAIRMAN OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD OF SBERBANK
